Terms & Conditions
How to Enter:
1. Eligibility of Participants:
a. This Competition is governed by and subject to the following Terms and Conditions.
b. Information on how to enter and the prizes to win form part of these conditions of entry.
c. Participation in this Competition constitutes an acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
d. Only Directors and Employees of licensed clubs and hotels of New South Wales, Queensland, Victoria, Northern Territory and Australian Capital Territory are eligible to enter.
e. The Competition is open to customers or non-customers of IDOL.
f. Only persons aged 18 years or over are eligible to enter.
g. The Board of Directors and Employees of Industry Data Online Pty Ltd and their immediate families are not permitted to participate in the Competition.
h. The Board of Directors and Employees of companies or organisations that have a sponsorship or partnership arrangement with IDOL are not permitted to enter. These companies/organisations are listed in the Partners section of www.industrydataonline.com
i. To determine the actual owner of the prize once it has been awarded, whether it is the individual or the company to which the individual represents, is not the responsibility of IDOL.
2. The Prizes:
a. There are fifteen (15) prizes to be won, five for each month of the Competition from 1st August to 31st October 2011.
b. Each prize consists of an Apple TV with 802.11n Wi-Fi and Apple Remote valued at $129.00. Each prize includes a bonus iTunes voucher to the value of $50.00. The total value of prizes in the competition is $2,685.00. The value of the advertised prizes may change in accordance with Apple’s Recommended Retail Price.
c. IDOL reserves the right to issue the prize as an Apple Store Gift Voucher if circumstances, unbeknown to IDOL, prevent the winner from collecting the prize in the mail. In this instance, redemption of the prize is therefore subject to the terms of use as outlined on the Apple Store Gift Voucher. In this instance, IDOL reserves the right to increase the value of the Apple Store Gift Voucher should the RRP of the Apple TV exceed $129 at the time of issuing the voucher.
d. The prizes are not redeemable for cash and are non-negotiable.
3. How to Enter:
a. The Competition opens Monday 1st August 2011 at 8:30am AEST.
b. The Competition closes Monday 31st October 2011 at 8:30am AEST.
c. Entries for the first five (5) prize draws close on Wednesday 31st August 2011 at 8.30am AEST.
d. Entries for the second five (5) prize draws close on Friday 30th September at 8.30am AEST.
e. Entries for the third five (5) prize draws close on Monday 31st October at 8.30am AEST.
f. Participants enter the draw(s) by attending at least one (1) of any five (5) types of IDOL events. To attend an IDOL event, the participant must either 1. Visit the IDOL website; 2. Attend an IDOL hosted webinar; 3. Join a live IDOL Product Demonstration; 4. Visit an IDOL booth at a Tradeshow; or 5. Join the IDOL Facebook community. A person who attends one (1) IDOL event will constitute one (1) entry into the draw. A person who attends two (2) events will constitute two (2) entries into the draw and so on. All entries into the draw will remain for the 3 months of the competition.
g. Customers of IDOL are eligible for a bonus entry for each IDOL event they attend. Participants must correctly validate themselves as a customer of IDOL at the time of entry to be eligible for the bonus entry.
h. Each Part must be completed in full to validate an entry. A full and validated entry requires all Asterisk (*) denoted fields of the online form to be completed.
i. More than one (1) eligible person can enter the Competition for any one business or organization.
4. The Prize Draws:
a. The prize draws will be conducted on Wednesday 31st August 9am AEST, Friday 30th September 9am AEST and Monday 31st October 9am AEST.
b. Each draw will take place at the Industry Data Online Head Office, Level 12, 301 Coronation Drive, Milton, 4064. Each prize draw will be conducted in the presence of an independent person who has no interest or relationship, personal or commercial, with IDOL or its employees.
c. Before each draw, each individual entry will be checked and validated for eligibility. Each validated entry will be assigned a number in sequence and the winner will be determined using random number selection software.
d. The winning entry will not be eligible to enter the remaining draws, however, all other validated entries for that winner will be eligible in these remaining draws.
5. Notifying Winners:
a. IDOL will notify the winner by telephone and mail within two (2) days of each prize draw.
b. In the event the prize has not been claimed by the notified winner within three (3) months of each draw, an unclaimed prize draw will be held on the next working day on Tuesday 31st January 2012 at 9am AEST at the Industry Data Online Head Office, Level 12, 301 Coronation Drive, Milton, QLD, 4064.
c. IDOL reserves the right to use the winner’s name and organisation or business on an audio, video or photograph for the purpose of promoting and advertising the Competition and/or IDOL.
d. IDOL reserves the right to cancel this Competition at any time (such as in the case of unforeseen circumstances outside IDOL’s reasonable control), subject to compliance with the Competition’s Trade Promotion guidelines for each eligible state or territory of the Competition.
e. In the event of any dispute, the decision of IDOL is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
f. Any failure to comply with these Terms and Conditions may result in disqualification from entry.
g. Disqualification will be at IDOL’s sole discretion and no correspondence will be entered into.
h. Participants’ information collected during this Competition will not be disclosed to any third parties, unless such disclosure is required by law.
i. Subject to law, IDOL and its employees has no liability to any person for injury (including death), loss or damage whatsoever arising in connection with this Competition or the prizes (including the awarding, condition, use or misuse of the prize). This clause does not apply to the extent that IDOL’s liability (if any) arises from an act or omission of IDOL in respect of its supply of services and/or goods to a prize winner in the ordinary course of IDOL’s business.
