A 33 machine QLD club was accessing various industry ranking reports on game performance to assist with product purchasing and gaming strategy for their gaming floor. The Club Manager found that while the report was useful, it still left him with questions on whether he would get the same performance in a smaller club with a lower turnover average.
The Manager had seen a significant increase in the number of SAP (Stand Alone Progressive) products entering the market over the past two years and the performance was significantly above the floor average. However, the manager was quite concerned about whether the SAP product would be the right product for his club.
Looking for this information he was recommended to Club Data Online (CDOL) by a colleague who was a CDOL subscriber. His colleague was in a similar position asking himself the same questions, “Will my turnover levels be able to sustain player enjoyment with lower turnover going through the progressive Jackpot?” and “How will this product affect the floor hold %?”.
Using the advanced gaming reporting tool, CDOL Dynamic Reports, the club ran a number of game ranking reports looking at clubs of a similar size and clubs with a similar turnover average. The report highlighted that a small number of Low 25% clubs had taken up SAP products and the product was performing well. Using CDOL Dynamic Reports the club went back and looked at the trend of the game to ensure it had performed well over a long period of time.
The club has since initiated a major gaming purchase along with a membership drive and increased promotional activity. The club has seen their daily turnover grow and their daily profit average from $25 a day to $60 per day.
ROI Summary:
- Club’s CDOL Investment = $330 per month
- Extra revenue from purchasing the right product for their venue = $421,575 per annum
- Pay Back Period = Less than 1 day
